I tasted all of these oils both straight off the spoon and on bread. It was an eye-opening experience. There are some really, really bad truffle oils out there! Like, truffle pigs would be offended if you tried to pass this stuff off on them as the real deal.

If you’re not committed to a full, big ol’ bottle of truffle oil, this is the best truffle oil to buy. Because it’s small (just 1.76oz) and it’s good. It’s not quite as good as the best white truffle oil on this list, but it comes pretty close. It has that super aromatic truffle flavor. But the flavor is light and gentle. And, most importantly, it doesn’t end on a bitter note. So many of the truffle oils we tried tasted like bitter chemicals. No wonder so many people have a truffle oil aversion.

It really is that much better. It’s made with real truffle and you can really taste that. It has a much more natural, seamlessly infused vibe than most of the others.
